Creative Confidence

Ofsted’s New Inspection Framework is taking the focus away from the core subjects and stressing the importance of a broad and balanced curriculum. My inset training helps schools to see the benefit of creative subjects being embedded across a schools curriculum. Teachers experiment with different art forms, discuss how to appraise children’s artwork effectively, learn how to use the creative subjects to stimulate learning in core subjects and how to use a sketchbooks as cross-curriculum learning journal. This fun and active day helps educators increase their creative confidence.

Naturally Creative

A fun and informative inset using natural materials. Teachers explore different artists who use natural materials, look at how to use nature art across the curriculum and how to build confidence in taking creative lessons outside.

Exploring how a schools can use art to enhance Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). We investigate the benefits of art in helping to spark imaginations and how it can enable children to think creatively across the curriculum.

Teachers explore how sketchbooks can be used across the curriculum. They will take a close look at artist’s sketchbooks and learn techniques to make their own, and with their classes.
